We're here at the fabulous Cross River Wilderness Center for 2 days now and have seen plenty of unknown animals or not native to Europe.
Gophers, pretty hummingbirds, mountain sheep (the ones with the big horns, below), deer and chipmunks.
But the highlight certainly are the black bears. We have seen almost 10 already. Today we net one with a baby bear that climbed the tree when we came by.
