Because flying wasn't grossly more expensive than taking the ferry, we decided to transport ourselves from Vancouver Island to the mainland by air. The plane was an age-old tiny turboprop but landing was very smooth. The security procedures video came from an ipad, which the captain attached on the cabin wall. There was a great view to the cockpit. Actually, the guy in an orange t-shirt is another passenger, whose view is even better.
